Full Cheek Sweet Iron Snaffle Bit with Copper Lozenge  (UKSALES25® Horse Bits)

The sweet iron metal oxidises and a sweet taste is produced which is preferred by some horses.

This sweet iron full cheek helps control the sideways movement of the head.

The added benefit of a copper lozenge gives a warm feel in the mouth and reduces the nutcracker effect of this bit.

The combination of the Sweet Iron mouthpiece & the Copper Lozenge promotes salivation & acceptance.

PLEASE NOTE:

Sweet Iron will fade with the passage of time.

The Bit will go Rusty and it’s entirely normal.

This is the desired effect of the Sweet Iron bits.

If a Sweet Iron bit is not used for a while, an orange-brown rust layer may form on the mouthpiece. 

Simply remove this by wiping the bit with a damp cloth.
