Highly recommended for horses that do not react well from the contact of the bit Eggbutts are suitable for sensitive corners of the mouths.
As they prevent them from being pinched which can happen with loose ring snaffles.
The oval rings which are fixed to the mouth-piece, keep the bit steady in the mouth.
They also prevent the bit from being pulled through the mouth, ensuring only gentle pressure onto the centre point of the tongue.
